Our headliner this month will be MICHAEL NATH (pictured), a James Tait Black Memorial Prize shortlistee. He is doing a British tour for his literary thriller British Story which The Morning Star called “a loud and extraordinarily compelling novel” and which Kirkus Reviews called a “brain-tickling web of delights and surprises“. We mean proper literary: in the book, he namechecks everything from Foucault to Faustus, from Troilus And Cressida to Thus Spoke Zarathustra.
On the 28th, you can buy him a beer and question him on novels and modernism.
Our open-mic line-up for January is as follows:
Carol Robson
Jack Nicholls
Jacob Harman
Jasmine Chatfield
Joseph Clarke
Karl Largan
Ros Ballinger
Stephen James
Tony Baxter
Zach Roddis
