SFX: Bad Language Halloween Special at Royal Exchange

“The story had held us, round the fire, sufficiently breathless, but except the obvious remark that it was gruesome, as, on Christmas Eve in an old house, a strange tale should essentially be, I remember no comment uttered till somebody happened to say that it was the only case he had met in which such a visitation had fallen on a child.”

Come join Bad Language for breathless, gruesome, strange tales, around a stage (not allowed fires at the Royal Exchange, we checked).

Following on from two successful previous nights at The Royal Exchange, Bad Language are back with a creepy twist especially for Halloween.

Featuring Emma Jane Unsworth and Booker nominee, Alison Moore, both featured in the second edition of Curious Tales, along with Polly Checkland Harding and Flashtag’s Tom Mason reading new work, it’s a great way to start a night of frights in the imposing hall of the Royal Exchange. (Cheap drinks too.)

With the able and entertaining hosting of JP Daly and Fat Roland, this will be a costume free but horror-filled night.

Date: 31 October 2014
Time: 6pm - 7pm
Admission: Free
Venue: Royal Exchange, in the Great Hall
