Manchester’s hottest live lit night, Bad Language, joins
forces with The Writing Squad for a bumper Manchester Literature Festival night headlined by
novelist Matt Haig.
The bestselling author of The Radleys and The Last Family in England, Haig will read from new book The Humans (“wonderfully funny, gripping and inventive” - The Times).
The Writing Squad runs writing development programmes across the North, nurturing gifted young writers through workshops, mentoring, performances and creative partnerships.
With the pick of the Bad Language collective’s roster of electrifying performers alongside emerging Writing Squad talent (believe us, they’re brilliant!), expect an evening of fresh, original writing.
Saturday 11th October, 8pm, at the International Anthony Burgess Foundation.
